I'm Daniel from Sweden. You are looking at my MÖTLEY CRÜE collection! I've been a big MÖTLEY CRÜE fan since 1984. I even owned a MÖTLEY CRÜE t-shirt before I ever heard their music, -yeah it's true! I still remember where I heard MÖTLEY CRÜE for the first time. It was with my friend Mikael at a record store, we shared the same headphones and Live Wire hit us! I became a MÖTLEY CRÜE fan right away.
I started to collect MÖTLEY CRÜE records around 1986. It wasn't planed or anything. It all begun when I bought the Japan 7-inch single of Home Sweet Home. None of my friends had it so I was a very proud owner. I kinda had a competitor that had a couple off cool Mötley records, but MÖTLEY CRÜE was my band and I wanted the hole world to know that. I was young and didn't have any money but that didn't stop me from ordering MÖTLEY CRÜE records. Back in 1987 I took a job when I was on a spring break from school just to afford the Gilrs, Girls, Girls picture disc! My collection slowly started to grow, I was so proud of it. In 1989 I had to sell 18 of my most precious MÖTLEY CRÜE records to afford a drumset (I later switched to guitar), I was forming my first band. Some of the records I sold I still haven't been able to find to this day.
In 1998 I had this idea to put my collection up on internet but I didn't know how, the only thing I knew was that I was going to call it "THE MÖTLEY CRÜE MÜSEÜM". The idea was growing in the back of my mind and in 2002 I decided to really do this site. It was a learning by doing kinda thing, I guess it still is. All the work with this site really got me into collecting again and in 2004 I finally got my hands on the original "Stick To Your Guns/Toast Of The Town" single and that was a great feeling. At that point I didn't know that in less than 10 months I was going to meet MÖTLEY CRÜE at the Sweden Rock Festival, now that was unbelievable! To shake hands with Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee & Mick Mars and on top of that get a picture with me and the boys! I find no words for that.
From 1985-1991 MÖTLEY CRÜE was the biggest thing in my life and in 2005 they became even bigger!

2022 was the 20th Anniversary of The Mötley Crüe Müseüm / motleymuseum.com Now it's over 20 years ago that I sat with a dial up modem and started the work with this site.
After 21 years as a die hard MÖTLEY CRÜE fan I finally got to meet the band backstage at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 11, 2005.

Just got home from the Sweden Rock Festival. Mötley Crüe was awesome as usual. Nikki was in a good mood and so was Vince. I had eye contact with Vince and Nikki several times. Nikki pointed at me and nodded his head, that was cool! Tommy had his roller coaster with him and it was killer to se it again. I always love to see Mick play. They played Smokin In The Boys Room and the last time they played "Smokin" live in Sweden was over 20 years ago! I was lucky to met my old friend Mikael at the festival. The first time I heard Mötley Crüe was in a record store and Mikael and I shared the same split headphones so Live Wire hit us at the same time, that was a great moment. I also met Hasse from motleycruecollection.com who's also a big Crue collector from Sweden. Me, Hasse and his friends had a great day together. -I can't wait until next time I'll see Mötley Crüe again! /Daniel - motleymuseum.com

Just got home from the Mötley Crüe show in London, England, December 15th where I saw them perform at the Wembley Arena. I had one hand in the air all the time and the other one was grabbing the barrier at the front of Nikki's side. We all got a blood shower when Nikki had his "bloodbath". Cool to se Tommy's roller coaster, wished I was in that passanger seat which some other lucky guy was. Vince was awesome and Mick rocked my world with his "Primal Scream" guitar solo as always. I caught one of Nikki's picks, -Yes!! Looking forward to see them at the Sweden Rock Festival 2012. "And as alway" - I love you Mötley Crüe! /Daniel - motleymuseum.com
Home from SONISPHERE, Stockholm Sweden, 7 August 2010.
Of all the bands I only saw Mötley Crüe and they were awesome! I got 2 Nikki Sixx picks and I was in the "first row". The pressure from behind was unbelievable! I got bruises all over, thats how you know you went to a Mötley Crüe show! A great moment for this Mötley Crüe Fan! Nikki took a picture from the stage that I'm in, and a few other guys -haha. I was told by a friend that I was on the big TV screens when they filmed the crowd, -cool. I was hoping to meet some of my crüe-fan brothers & sisters but the cell phones didn't work with 46.000 people in the crowd, next time... It was heavy rain at the festival that stoped when Mötley started to play, -I guess Vince stopped the rain.
Come back to Sweden soon Mötley, - I love you!
